The Public Utility certificate is an acknowledgement from the Union, the States and the Municipalities that the organization provide relevant services to the society. It gives credibility to the entity because it’s an official recognition.
Beyond the Public Utility certificate, it’s important that the organization is registered and qualified by the proper supervisory boards.
Livre Ser Institute has state and municipal Public Utility certificates and it’s qualified by and registered in the Social Assistance Municipal Council (CMAS, abbreviation for the name in Portuguese), the Children and Teenagers Rights Council in Teresina (CMDCAT, abbreviation for the name in Portuguese) and the Infancy and Youth’s Court in Teresina.
We are also qualified to develop partnerships with federal and state government through the SICONV and in the final process to receive the Social Assistance Charitable Entity Certificate (CEBAS, abbreviation for the Portuguese name).
