Mais Água Project facilitates water solutions for the outback communities and villages that are affected by the very long periods of drought, when people have no access to clean water.
We develop solutions for the population to have access to clean water and cooperate with the communities’ development in the north-eastern outback, specially in Piauí state. For that, we analyze where we can find water, what are the conditions of this water and if there are any water catchment points inside the communities.
Mais Água Project also implements desalination systems in the brackish water wells and invests in underground dams. The desalination systems filter the salts in the water and make possible to provide clean water to thousands of people for a long period. The underground dams help to keep a wet soil even in the drought seasons, helping with the cultivation through all the year and providing financial support and generating income for the families.
